Construction of a new 6-story Comprehensive Cancer Center in Peoria, IL. The project includes the construction of a concrete vault to house a proton therapy system. Total building area is approximately 194,000 SF. The project also includes a new parking deck for 866 cars.

This project is tax exempt since OSF Healthcare is a not for profit organization.

The project includes a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal of 10% and a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) goal of 5%. The project also includes a goal of 18% of the total hours worked, per trade, should be performed by minority workers and a goal of 3% of the total hours worked, per trade, should be performed by female workers.

A virtual prebid meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m. See the specifications for a link to the meeting.

All RFI’s are due by Tuesday, November 17th at 5:00 p.m.

Review the specifications for a list of allowances, unit prices, and alternates.

The drawings and specifications for the Parking Deck are scheduled to be released on November 10th.

For reference, we have included existing building drawings of the Allied Health Building and the Infectious Disease Building, which are to be demolished to make room for the project. We have also included existing building drawings of the Forest Park Building where the tunnel will tie in and extend to the Cancer Center. Bid Breakdown (See Section 00 22 14 – Instructions to Bidders for more information)

Provide separate stand-alone pricing for each scope of work between the Cancer Center and the Parking Deck. The sitework-related scopes of work do not require a breakdown between the Cancer Center and the Parking Deck. However, separate stand-alone pricing must be provided for each scope. The HVAC scope is broken down into separate packages for Piping, Ventilation, and Controls. The Electrical scope is broken down into separate packages for Electrical and Technology. See the responsibility matrices included in the drawings. Combination package pricing can be provided in addition to the stand-alone pricing requested above.

The Interior Fitout bid package is scheduled to be released at the end of February 2021 with a bid date at the end of March 2021.
